In a time when the meaning of Lent can feel diluted or overlooked, God has called us to something deeper. He has spoken clearly. This season is to be reLENTless. A sacred reset. A holy refocus. A spiritual recharge.
 
Together, we pursue peace. We pursue change. We pursue prayer. We pursue service. Not as isolated individuals, but as a community committed to living lives aligned with God’s will, marked by compassion, integrity, and love.
 
At the heart of this season stands the most important event in human history: the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The Gospel declares that God entered history, conquered death, hell, and the grave, and reconciled sinners to Himself through Christ’s life, atoning sacrifice, and resurrection. For believers who have submitted to Jesus as Savior and Lord, Lent is a time to remember the sacrifice that set us free and to prepare our hearts to celebrate resurrection life.
 
Lent, from the Latin meaning “fortieth,” begins on Ash Wednesday and leads to Resurrection Sunday. Though Sundays are set apart for renewal and celebration, the forty days carry profound biblical significance. Scripture reveals forty as a number of testing, trial, and preparation: forty days of rain in Noah’s flood, forty years in Israel’s wilderness journey, forty days of Jesus’ fasting in the wilderness, and forty days He remained on earth after His resurrection.
 
Likewise, Lent is a season of preparation, restoration, and transformation.
